Stuff I want from Stella & Dot

1. On The Fringe Necklace - $34
2. Renegade Cluster Bracelet - $59
3.  Odyssey Ring - $59
4.  Marchesa Studs - $29
5. Zahara Bib Necklace - $248
I don't know about you, but I regularly peruse the pages of Stella & Dot's online catalogue. I've never actually ordered anything, nor have I attended a Stella & Dot party, simply because I find it all a little overpriced for what you get see: Zahara Bib Necklace for $248- plus I have memories of attending Tupperware and Candle parties with my mom as a kid and remember it being sort of awkward and everyone feeling like they had to buy something.
These above pieces are my favourites from those offered right now. They're fun, feminine, a little boho, and make a statement. Plus, they could all be mixed and matched amongst one another - which is something I look for in jewelry. Nothing's worse than a jewelry company coming out with a new collection consisting of a hundred different styles. It's hard to mix pieces and you feel as though you have to sort yourself into either the "boho" or "glam" or "modern" categor - which is both awkward and inconvenient.
What do you think of these pieces? Do you think $248 is a little ridiculous for a necklace from Stella & Dot? On a side note... you can expect a new outfit post tomorrow or Sunday. Things will get back to normal next week once I have some more spare time! I'm enjoying visiting with my in-laws and had a yummy dinner last night at The Wellington Gastropub. One can never go wrong with a goat cheese and beet salad.

I have several Stella and Dot pieces, may favorite is my charm necklace with my our 5 birthstones, a family Initial and a love charm. Expensive but very good quality items that age well.

I want the ring the most!!

I have that same ring in Labradorite (read somewhere that it has healing properties). I hear you about the fear of their shows bringing thoughts of tupperware parties to mind. But, believe me, I went to a party once and fell in love. The shows are 2 hours long and time just flies! You feel like you’re at a private shopping event with your girlfriends. That’s why I joined the company and now sell Stella & Dot. :-) Feel free to visit my FB site to check out pics on my past shows ( You might be pleasantly surprised. I have had the best time with my girlfriends providing them with an excuse to get together and shop. On the note of pieces being expensive, if you visit Neiman Marcus, you’ll find very similar pieces/quality at 4-5 times the price. I didn’t believe it until I went myself and my jaw dropped! The best part is you can earn it for free by hosting a trunk show :-)

I’d love to help you shop! (you can order thru my site) or email me I rep it and LOVE it! Never thought I’d be doing something like this, but have fallen in LOVE with the line and the job! Alana

Stella and dot has quality and affordable jewelery … You can go to Macy’s and spend $60.. Why not get something different that is handmade and stunning? I vote a yes for S&D!!

I agree with the above comments. Half of their line is $50 and under. Plus the big statement pieces are often used by hostesses since they can either get it for free or at 1/2 off. You have GREAT taste!!
