**Update: Thanks for all your help, everyone! I got my hair done today and it's more even now and a slightly lighter version of #4. I'll add more lowlight next time and appreciate all your awesome suggestions. #bestreadersever **

I have a hair appointment booked for next Saturday, June 30th and need your help with choosing a hair colour. As you likely know, I'm currently sporting a light version of the ombre trend. I'm looking to ditch it and go with an all over colour again. Until this year, I've been a very light blonde. Since I'm super pale, I've decided to stick with the darker blonde because it looks a bit nicer on me than the platinum does and it adds more contrast to my appearance (I hate tone-on-tone!)

The above six photos feature some of my favourite examples of dark blonde. I know some of them are very similar to one another, so please feel free to leave me a link a comment to examples you think would work for me! I'd be eternally grateful - and so would my hair.

Which of the above do you think would work best for me? Is there another gorgeous tressed dark blonde I'm missing? Let me know!

I like a look similar to #4 on you. The brighter blond brings a glow to the face which is especially flattering for paler skintones.

Thank you! It seems #4 has been a fan favourite, so I think it’ll be the one!

4 and 5 have gotten the most votes, so I think it’ll be one of those two! Thanks for helping!

well to be honest I think they would all look great on you, just depends what type of color your looking for. #3 is my favorite tho!

I was going for this kind of dark blonde but after a disastrous DIY attempt, I took myself to the salon and now have dark blonde/light golden brown hair which is very close to my natural hair colour. I think this hair colour would look perfect on you, especially Lauren Conrad’s colour!

Oh God, I attempted a self colour correction in the spring after a stylist seriously destroyed my hue – never again. I’ll leave the hair dying to the pros, especially if I hope to stay blonde at all! hehe
