[Beauty Byte] NAIR Shower Power Hair Removal Cream Review

Nair Shower Power Hair Removal Cream now comes in a new formula and a new bottle. Before anything else, I have to say the pump bottle is so much more convenient than some of the older tube bottles. If I'm in the shower lathering up my legs, I'm not going to want to grab a slippery bottle and squeeze more cream. The cream's going to get everywhere, and I hate when water gets caught in flip lids (snap shampoo bottles, for example). It just grosses me out. This bottle allows you to quickly and easily pump however much you need without getting it everywhere.

At first, I was a little skeptical at Nair's claim that the hair removal cream is shower-resistant, meaning you can apply it when you hop in and continue with your regular shower routine without it washing off. It sounded way too good to be true. But, it actually does stay put quite nicely. It's probably because of the hair removal creams slightly thicker consistency. Either way, I left it on for 4 minutes and then washed it off. Aside from a couple stray hairs that I probably didn't apply enough cream to, it worked really well.

I used the Moisturizing for Dry Skin cream because I tend to get really dry skin on my legs, no matter what time of year, and thought it helped to keep them feeling moisturized well after my shower. My legs also looked sort of shiny, but in a good way. The results lasted just slightly longer than when I shave my legs, but I know the exact number of days or hours will change depending on your own body and hair type. I know some girls that can get away shaving once a week (I'm probably somewhere in the 3-4 day range), and others that end up shaving everyday because they have such fast regrowth. I'd say this brings me closer to the 4 days - maybe even 5.

Quick Review: Nair Shower Power Hair Removal cream is a little on the pricey side at $14.99, but you get plenty out of the bottle and it really does work well, and quickly. If you're fed up with shaving or want something that will let you wash your hair while it works away at making your legs smooth and silky, I recommend this product.
